Dealer Policies


DEALER QUALIFICATIONS & PROCEDURES

Criteria for Dealer Status:
  • Legitimate retail store, motorcycle service, or distributor.
  • Dealers engaged in online sales must provide proof of business.
  • Retail dealers must be open to the general public.
  • Completion of a Dealer Application.
  • Provide proof of business where applicable.



PRICING & SHIPPING POLICY
  1. Discount pricing is provided to verified dealers, distributors, and service shops within the motorcycle and power sports industry.
  2. Prepaid orders greater than $50.00 include free shipping via standard ground shipping. All other orders will incur actual shipping charges.
  3. Priority or expedited shipping is available at additional cost.
  4. COD Cash orders are charged actual shipping cost plus any associated fees.
  5. COD Check orders are may be accepted from dealers with:
       
    1. 90 days history of prepaid orders.
    2.  
    3. Backup funding via credit card.
  6. Orders received before 2pm Pacific Time will ship within 1 business day.
  7. International customers will be billed separate shipping charges, payable prior to shipping.

PLACING YOUR ORDER

Orders may be placed by fax or online by the following:

Online: Online Orders may be placed at www.cv-performance.com using your registered dealer login. Please contact CVP following online registration to complete the verification process and to see special dealer pricing at login.

Fax or Email: Verified delears may fax or email orders to CV Performance. Orders must include dealer contact and payment information. Please allow 1 business day for order and payment processing.

Be prepared to provide the following information when ordering:
  • Your dealer or store name and contact information.
  • CVP item number, size or specific fitment, and quantity.
  • Payment details and any special shipping requirements.



TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE


All orders are subject to acceptance by CV Performance. To remain as an active account in good standing:
  • Dealers must maintain their status as a legitimate business.
  • Your account may become inactive if no orders are placed with in a period of one year and may be required to re-file for dealer status as a new account.
CV Performance prohibits the following:
  • Dealers reselling through online auctions (i.e. eBay) unless listed at or above MSRP.
  • Distributing or selling under another product name.
  • Repackaging or combining with other products without authorization from CVP.
  • Selling or advertising a CVP product for any use that may be considered unlawful.
  • Misrepresenting CVP products in any way.


DISCLAIMERS OF WARRANTIES AND LIMITATIONS OF DAMAGES


Unless considered unenforceable or unlawful:
  • All implied warranties relative to any product sold by CV Performance to the customer, including but not limited to implied warranties or merchantability are hereby excluded.
  • CV Performance's liability, if any to our customers, for any allegedly defective product, shall, under any legal or equitable theory be limited to replacement of the product and shall in no event include damages of any kind, whether incidental, consequential or otherwise.


DEFECTIVE MERCHANDISE
  • Any merchandise considered defective must be returned to CV Performance for inspection.
  • Items determined to be misused or altered will be denied.
  • Returns, whether defective, damaged, or otherwise will not be accepted without prior authorization.


DAMAGED GOODS


If you receive a shipment with visible damage, please take the appropriate steps to document.
  • Please inspect the contents of the package to assure that all products are in the package and are in good sellable condition.
  • If any of the contents are missing or damaged please contact CV Performance immediately.
  • Damaged packages that have resulted in missing product may require inspection where applicable.
  • DO NOT return freight damaged goods without first contacting CV Performance for a return authorization.


RETURN OF UNWANTED GOODS


No returns will be accepted without prior authorization in writing.
  1. Authorized goods for return credit are subject to a 20% restocking fee and must be in good sellable condition.
  2. We reserve the right to refuse any item for return for any reason including but not limited to obsolete and discontinued items.
  3. Returns are for credit only and may be subject to changes in pricing.
  4. CV Performance is not responsible for any shipping or handling charges.
  5. We will not accept returns on obsolete, closeout or any merchandise not purchased from us.


SHIPPING ERRORS


CV Performance makes every attempt to assure order accuracy. However, in the event of an error please contact us immediatey to remedy any discrepancy.
  • In the event you have to return an item that was shipped in error we will credit all reasonable return costs on your next order.
  • In the event of a missing item(s) we will credit your account or send the missing item, whichever is most convenient.


PROCEDURE AND POLICY FOR RETURNING MERCHANDISE


All return merchandise either defective, damaged, unwanted or in error must be returned with a return authorization code prominently displayed on the box and must be properly packed.  Any items damaged on return due to improper packaging will not be credited.  Return Authorization should be obtained by email or fax.

  1. Any package returned without a return authorization number will be refused.
  2. When requesting an RA# please provide the following information:
      • Dealer information.
      • Original invoice or order number.
      • Stock number and quantity of item(s) to be returned.
  3. All returned merchandise will be for credit only and must not exceed quantity authorized.
  4. All claims for returned merchandise must be handled within 30 days of invoice date.
  5. We will not accept COD or freight collect packages.
