Harley Choke Bracket

CVP Polished Choke Bracket. Made from polished stainless steel, our choke bracket moves the choke knob conveniently to the top of the carburetor for that custom look. Big twin or Sportster relocation of your choke enrichener for easy reach. Includes all stainless steel mounting hardware to stand up to the elements. Choke cable assembly not included. Fits 1990-2006 Big Twin and 1988-2006 Sportster models using CV style carburetors. Requires aftermarket air cleaner assembly or custom/modified airbox with some stock Sportster "hamcan" or Twin Cam airboxes (see below). 

Works with most stock cable assemblies or our short-style choke cable 29238-92 292288D or our Choke Cable Assembly.  Recommended to use with an aftermarket air cleaner assembly (Screamin' Eagle, Arlen Ness, and other stage 1 assemblies). The bracket may not fit and interfere with stock plastic air cleaner assemblies (Sportster "hamcan" style or some stock Big Twin backings) that wrap around the side of the carburetor without modifying or cutting the plastic backing. For some larger stock fuel tanks the supplied hardware (long screws + nuts) allows for the bracket to be mounted lower on the underside of the carb cover hole tabs to lower the bracket and knob height. Mounting in a lower position may require the use of a shorter Sportster style choke cable (OEM p/n 29238-92 or 29229-88D). 

Item is polished stainless steel (not chrome plated).

The choke cable must be disassembled prior to installing through the bracket. Simply remove the plunger, spring, plastic nut, and pull the elbow off the cable. CVP carries replacement choke cables and choke cable assemblies.
