Complete vacuum slide valve piston assembly for Keihin CVK40 carburetors found on Kawasaki Vulcan and KLR motorcycles . Replaces the original Kawasaki p/n 16126-1170 and 16126-1325 on single CVK 40 carbs only.

KAWASAKI Vulcan VN1500 1996-2004 with single CVK40 or single CVK36**
KAWASAKI KLR650 1987-2018 with CVK40

** IMPORTANT - Verify your carburetor first. For Keihin CVK40 single 40mm carburetor ONLY. Item will NOT fit CVK36 on other models or those with dual (smaller) CVK carbs. Not for use on dual (2x) or quad (4x) carburetors that require a tabbed diaphragm. According to user feedback, the Vulcan 800/1500 is the only model that utilized a CVK40 slide inside a CVK36 carburetor body. Verify that your carburetor will accept p/n 16126-1170 or 16126-1325 before purchase, restocking fees for incorrect purchase apply.

*Not for use on models not designed to use original part number 43028-1062 16126-1325 or 16126-1170. WILL NOT fit the non-stock race carburetors: CV44 (slide 27552-99) or CV51 (slide 27555-03) or smaller CVK32, 34, or 36 models. Use only on Keihin 40mm CVK40 carburetors.

All vacuum slides are test fitted and inspected by CVP prior to shipping to meet specifications and are verified functional for their intended use. We personally inspect the diaphragm before shipping to be free of any cuts or damage.
Manufacturer warranties the slide portion only (metal casting) against manufacturing defects for 90 days from purchase date. The rubber diaphragm portion is not warrantied after receipt and/or installation since the manufacturer or seller has no control over any possible adverse conditions that may occur. It should be noted that the rubber diaphragm is very delicate, and any mishandling including pinching the diaphragm with the cover during installation will cut or tear the material and is not covered by any warranty.
For warranty issues please contact CV Performance in writing. If a warranty claim concerns any sort of defect with the cast slide portion of the assembly the seller will issue a RMA number for the original customer to return the slide for inspection. An RMA does not guarantee acceptance of return or exchange. Upon inspection if the item is determined to be defective the seller shall provide a replacement in exchange only. This warranty does not provide for a refund or compensation in any manner. Warranty does not cover any time, labor, shipping, or any other claim of loss incurred by any party whatsoever.
CV Performance reserves the right to deny a warranty claim due to factors including but not limited to; abuse or misuse, exposure to solvent or chemical, damage from overheating or backfire, any damage caused by the customer's equipment or carburetor itself, damage or improper handling by installer, damage caused to the product from any other product or device, or handling by any third party shop or installer.
